Corporate Volunteer Council of Central New Mexico

The Corporate Volunteer Council is an association of local organizations who promote employee volunteering.

The Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) was established in 1995. Its mission is to support employee volunteer programs by providing personal development opportunities to EVP managers, mentoring to businesses looking to establish employee volunteer programs, project collaboration, and greater visibility for companies who strive to achieve excellence in employee volunteerism.

CVC members meet monthly with a focus on topics that will help us be successful in volunteer program management. It is also a great way to network, share best practices and build recognition in the community as a good corporate citizen.

Mayor’s Day of Volunteer Recognition

April is the National Volunteer Month.  The city of Albuquerque and Mayor Richard Berry held an event to recognize organizations and individuals for their contributions to our community through volunteerism.
