The Corporate Volunteer Council is an association of local organizations who promote employee volunteering.
The Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) was established in 1995. Its mission is to support employee volunteer programs by providing personal development opportunities to EVP managers, mentoring to businesses looking to establish employee volunteer programs, project collaboration, and greater visibility for companies who strive to achieve excellence in employee volunteerism.
CVC members meet monthly with a focus on topics that will help us be successful in volunteer program management. It is also a great way to network, share best practices and build recognition in the community as a good corporate citizen.
Sandia National Labs’ annual holiday giving traditions started Wednesday, November 20, with “Take a Turkey to Work Day.” Nearly 400 turkeys, more than 6,200 lbs. were donated to the Roadrunner Food Bank.
